When you install your rainwater harvesting system, you’re going to need a collection tank that meets capacity, durability, and function to complete it. That’s where Tanks R Us comes in with a large variety of tanks from the industry leading manufacturer, Enduramaxx.
Constructed from medium-density polyethylene, these tanks are an excellent choice for rainwater harvesting systems. Polyethylene plastic is resistant against impact damage, reduces the likelihood of pressure cracks emerging and is resistant to corrosion, making them a better alternative to steel tanks.
The majority of our rainwater collection tanks are UV stabilised, giving them extra protection when stored out in the open. Whether you store your tank above ground or beneath it, they are built for longevity and durability. Because individual needs vary, ours come in a variety of capacities to suit both domestic, commercial, and industrial use. They start at a small 150 litres and go to a large scale 30,000 litres, perfect for supplying your shower, washing your clothes or agricultural spraying.
You’ll find that majority of our rainwater collection tanks are compatible with a variety of water pumps, from external suction pumps to the installation of internal submersible centrifugal pumps making them ideal for rainwater harvesting systems. Each tank features a screw lock lid for storage and access security, and water outlets to provide an easy set up. Not all environments provide the same space for storage, that’s why you’ll find a diverse range of designs. We have slimline tanks to squeeze into tight spaces, a mix of vertical and horizontal storage tanks, and transport tanks for manageable location transfer.

A potable water tank is where water suitable for drinking is stored. Any tank storing drinking water must comply with regulations set out by the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme. Water tanks that are WRAS approved are suitable for storing drinking water.
Depending on what usage you intend to get from your water depends on what tank you will be needing. If you require storage of drinking water, you will require a WRAS approved potable tank. If you need general water collection, then a non-potable rainwater tank is best.
Anyone not connected to main water supply network will need a potable water tank for storing drinking water and a non-potable water tank for general water storage.
