Tanks R Us’ exclusive range of diesel bowsers provides you with an excellent, reliable and safe fuel transportation solution, with a selective range of capacities for diesel, gas and oil storage between 200 and 2000 litres. Our bowsers are cylindrical horizontal tanks affixed to a steel A-frame trailer and UN approved for usage on public and private roads throughout the United Kingdom - all of which are constructed from bunded stainless steel to give maximum protection from weather, leakages, dirt and theft.
Determining the capacity of the tank depends on the axle. If you require a smaller tank, you will have only require a single axle bowser. For larger tanks, you will have a twin axle, upgrading the stability to the tank mass and trailer with four wheels. It is highly recommended, though, that while transporting fuel you stay on roads in reasonable condition.
Tanks R Us wants you and your fuel to be safe at all times, especially during transportation. That’s why our diesel bowsers are designed with a safety mechanism that activates if, for any reason, the bowser separates from the tow during motion. If this happens, the safety mechanism automatically engages the braking system to prevent the bowser from causing injury either to yourself or others. With Tanks R Us, you can have the confidence that your fuel transportation is safe and manageable as a result of innovative engineering and construction. Each of our diesel bowsers also come with highway compliant LED lighting so you can tow your fuel night or day wihtout having to worry about visibility.
If you have any questions regarding the usage of our diesel bowsers or just want some more information, please get in touch and our experts will be happy to help.
A diesel dispensing tank is a steel or plastic, bunded tank, designed for the purpose of storing and dispensing diesel fuel. No, Diesel dispensing tanks should only be used to store and dispense diesel.
All Tanks R Us steel or plastic diesel dispensing tanks are bunded meaning they have been designed to incorporate a ‘tank within a tank’ design. This protects your valuable fuel in the event of a tank split.
Furthermore, our diesel dispensing tanks are supplied with metal spigots, adjacent to the diesel tank’s access door, which are capable of accommodating a secure padlock.
Advanced diesel dispensing tank models can be supplied with fuel management systems, which mean that even in the event of a thief gaining access to the fuel cabinet, diesel cannot be dispensed without unique access keys to activate the fuel pump.
The presence of water within your diesel tank and indeed, within your diesel, is common. This builds up as a result of climate changes which occur over time. Tanks R Us are able to remove any water from your fuel. Simply contact us to arrange a visit from one of our technicians.
You can also take preventative measures in reducing or eradicating the presence of water in your diesel tank or your fuel. A Cim-Tek tank dryer, which is made from fabric and sits within your diesel tank, can collect water over time. Simply check and replace it regularly to keep water levels at a minimum.
Furthermore, purchasing a water filter with your diesel tank will ensure that even if water is present in your diesel tank, it will not filter through to your vehicles fuel tank. We strongly recommend purchasing a water and particulate filter with all diesel tanks, by way of protecting your vehicles from damage.
Yes, A standard 13 amp, single phase mains power supply is required to operate diesel dispensing tanks.
